It’s All Journalism producer Amelia Brust talks to Sara Ganim, a former CNN investigative reporter, whose Pulitzer Prize-winning work for The Patriot-News exposed former Penn State football coach Jerry Sandusky’s history of child sexual abuse through his charitable organization, as well as the university’s lack of action in response to the original allegations. She discusses her latest project — tackling “data deserts. This project is funded by a Hearst Journalism fellowship at the Brechner Center for Freedom of Information at the University of Florida’s College of Journalism and Communications.
