Better News: Measure the impact of local journalism on your community

2February 16, 2021 by Michael O'Connell

Anjanette Delgado is the senior news director for digital at the Detroit Free Press. She recently wrote an article for the American Press Institute’s Better News initiative about the paper’s community impact report. Better News host Michael O’Connell talks to Delgado about how newsrooms can create their own reports to measure the effect local journalism is having on their community, as well as how it is contributing to their fundraising efforts.
